Suzanne grew up in the Princeton area, studied Studio Art and Art History as an undergraduate at Gettysburg College, then went to Parsons to study Fashion Design. Upon graduation, she worked with several designers, including Carmelo Pomodoro, Randolph Duke, J. Crew, Norma Kamali, and Rifat Ozbek. Suzanne lived in Turkey for 20 years and, while there, started her own collection, Suzanne Simon, which was picked up by Barney's, Bergdorf Goodman, Fred Segal, Flair, Carleen Ligozio, and specialty stores throughout the United States. Suzanne is now back in the states and is happy to be designing again when not chasing after her two children.
Andie grew up in Baltimore. She studied Art History and Studio Art at Hamilton College where she also discovered that she really didn't appreciate cold weather! After graduating, she moved to New York City where she worked in the buying offices at Bergdorf Goodman purchasing jewelry, handbags, shoes and decorative home items. She loved the buying appointments because of the exposure to the fabulous interiors of private homes and amazing hotel suites in New York City. That interest in interiors led her to Pratt Institute where she worked on her Masters in Interior Design. While pregnant with her first child, she began working for the design firm Emma Elizabeth Trading until she opened her own firm, Andie Kully Interiors. Andie lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
Suzanne and Andie met at their children's nursery school where they quickly discovered a shared love of fashion, design and warm weather which, in turn, led to their beach-inspired collection.
